Party leaders pledge support for aspirant
House of Representatives hopeful for Ijebu Central Federal Constituency, Barrister Taiwo Shote and his team paid a consultative visit to Ijebu Central Federal Constituency, comprising of Odogbolu, Ijebu-North East and Ijebu Ode local government areas on Saturday to acquaint his leaders of his intention to vie for the position in the 2019 general election.
The trip saw Shote and his team visiting and interacting with notable party, leaders, elders and stakeholders. From Ilese in Ijebu North East Local Government Area to Omu in Odogbolu Local Government Area and Ijebu Ode in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area, it was a rousing reception.
The team, which was led by the Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Buruji Kashamu, comprised of prominent Ogun PDP chieftains such as the PDP Ogun East Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Daisi Akintan; a former member of the House of Representatives, Prince Segun Seriki; the Ogun PDP Legal Adviser, Barrister Bimbo Lanre-Balogun and Mrs. Bukola Araba.
Others included House of Assembly hopeful for Ijebu Ode State Constituency, Hon. Abdulazeez Ogedengbe (Omo Araga); aspirant for Sagamu State Constituency 1, Hon. Babatunde Ayorinde (Fabregas), among others.
While receiving the delegation, party leaders pledged their support for Shote's aspiration.
